Passover

Unlike our Chinese Thanksgiving, Grandpa Stephen, Grandma Linda and the four of us decided to have a traditional Passover seder. We bought the brisket from Paulz Burgerz and Dogz. I had "won" a gift certificate to the restaurant at UH's silent auction. The brisket was delicious! Grandpa Stephen whipped up the rest of the dinner including the gotta-have-sponge-cake dessert and we began our seder.

Brett's favorite, like every year, was the parsley dipped in salt water. He ate a plateful at our seder and then the following night he did the same at Dori's seder. What does that mean when the best part of a person's seder is the bitter tears?

No Casey was not acting like an Indian. He was trying to get me not to take his picture!
 That tactic did not work....
Apparently we invited an actor to play the part of the wise men answering the four questions. The actor was extremely animated and had some great material to share with us.
I don't know if this is a blessing or not but everyone not in attendance missed Grandma and me singing a Passover song to the tune of "I've been working on the railroad." Casey did tape us so if you are dying to hear us we can make that happen.
