Monday of Spring Break was spent walking around the BOTANICAL GARDENS with the GWIN FAMILY. We spent 2 1/2 hours walking around the gardens with Elaine (mom), Grace, Noah, John and Andrew. Although we have lived here for almost 4 years we have never been to the Botanical Gardens. It's definitely another place we recommend when you come to visit St. Louis!

One of the favorite activities among the kids was to feed the ducks and the carp in the Japenese Gardens. The carp were ENORMOUS!! We spent at least 15 minutes just hanging out on the bridge and feeding the fish.

Another fun activity was running through the Victorian Maze. Elaine is watching from the tower while we run through the maze

Just a few side notes: Henry Shaw founded the Botanical Gardens. There are two of his homes on the property as well as his mosoleum. We are excited about heading back when the weather improves to go into all the buildings and gardens that did not open until April.
