It was Elena's Bat Mitzvah so we hopped on a plan and head to CT. It was awesome! Not only did Elena do a phenomenal job leading the service and reading out of the Torah, Scott and Susan threw a blast of a party. Friday night we attended services and ate dinner at B'nai Israel Congregation in Fairfield (my childhood town and temple). Saturday we took family pics and enjoyed having Elena lead us in a Shabbat Service. Following the service we took a bus ride out to the country and CELEBRATED at a country club on a lake. We danced a little but mostly caught up with relatives we had not seen for over a decade. It was amazing to see everyone again. Saturday night Scott and Susan had a campfire at their house and of course more friends and food. We said our goodbyes and headed back to the hotel to get some sleep before taking off for NYC. What a great great great weekend. I can't wait to see everyone again at Evan's Bar Mitzvah.
