The beginning of this year is centered around Casey's Bar Mitzvah. Each week it seems there is something else he needs to do. One of the requirements to fulfill is to complete a MITZVAH PROJECT. Casey decided he would like to donate used sporting equipment to the St. Louis Special Olympics organization. Casey designed a flyer that he passed out throughout our neighborhood. One week later he was supposed to go around collecting the sporting equipment but unfortunately he ended up with a bad virus. Brett was a good sport and road around with mom picking up all the equipment the neighbors left outside their doors. A week later Casey and mom headed to Brentwood to drop off the equipment at the Special Olympics headquarters. The organization was extremely appreciative and Casey enjoyed the experience.
