This year Gary and I decided it was time to get rid of the green laminate counter tops and bring our kitchen into the year 2011. Well, I wanted to update the kitchen. Gary wanted to get rid of the tiled island that wreaked havoc on our noses. It stunk! We put in granite counter tops, a backsplash, a built-in microwave and moved the stovetop off the island.
