It's time once again for the Highcroft Pumpkin Run. The contest where each child picks a partner, they estimate what their time will be after one runs 2 times around the track and other runs 3 laps. The winning team is the team that guesses the closest to their actual time. Children go in winning time order, closest estimation to farthest, and choose a pumpkin from the PUMPKIN pile. This year I drove Brett, Noah and Jacob Pataloni to help pick out the pumpkins that the school would use. We drove 45 minutes to Troy, IL and picked out pumpkins for about an hour. Later we drove back and ate pizza at the school.
