CASEY left for
camp on Sunday, June 11th. On the following
THURSDAY the family was invited down to see the site. I was able to spend over
2 hours with Casey. He was so excited to give me a
TOUR of the entire campsite and explain everything that he had been doing all week. He was looking forward to the great day that was planned for Friday but he did say he was looking forward to sleeping in his own bed.

The boys were proud to show us the
BUDDY BOARD. Apparently before going in the water each scout is assigned a buddy and they get tags. A bell (that you can see part of in a following pic) is rung unscheduled. At that point every scout has to stop where they are and show that they are no farther than one arms length from their buddy.

Sunday and Monday at camp consisted of major storms resulting in
flooding. This was taken on Thursday and the lake is still high.

Casey tried out
canoeing and kayaking. He said he wasn't so great at canoeing but loved
KAYAKING.

They were taken out on this pontoon.

Brett and Casey are both earning their
VOYAGER MERIT BADGE. This is an entrance to the merit badge they are working toward.

After we said our goodbyes the boys were getting ready to go to a "tapped out" ceremony.
